Bark For Life

Bark For Life, an event hosted by the American Cancer Society, will
bring dog owners and their pets together in the fight against cancer
Saturday, Aug. 17. This non-competitive walkathon at the Rocky Hill Dog
Park will raise vital funds for the American Cancer Society while
celebrating the special bond between people and their dogs. Registration
opens at 9 a.m. The event will feature a variety of fun activities for
dogs and owners alike, such as a training demonstration, an owner/dog
look-a-like contest, and a dog trick contest. There will also be prizes
for the top fundraising dogs. Teams and individuals welcome.
Registration is $25 per person with the commitment to raise additional
funds for the lifesaving mission of the American Cancer Society. All
registered dogs will receive a Bark For Life bandana, while participants
who raise at least $100 will get a Bark For Life T-shirt. To sign up or
for more information, call 203-379-4888 or visit
