Daily Campus Reporter Cannot Track Down the Researchers Studying Adam Lanza's DNA

Investigation of UConn's study of Adam Lanza's genome leads to fishy findings.

If you had the opportunity to pick up a copy of The Daily Campus today or stopped by our home page, you would have noticed that our lead story is a topic that many news outlets have writing about since mid-December: the Sandy Hook shooting

CNN, The Associated Press and the LA Times reported last month that UConn geneticists would be studying Adam Lanza’s DNA.

Oddly enough, the UConn genetics department does not seem to know that.

Senior Staff Writer Loumarie Rodriguez reported today that Linda Strausbaugh, director of the Center for Applied Genetics and Technology at Storrs, is not involved in the study and does not have any information about it.

This piqued Rodriguez’s interest. She did not understand how the director of UConn genetics could be unaware about such a highly publicized study.

She then contacted the UConn Health Center in Farmington, as CNN reported that is where the research will take place. Faculty members and representatives from their department had no answers for Rodriguez.

“It was just getting stranger and stranger by the minute,” Rodriguez said.

Daily Campus news editor Kim Wilson originally pitched the story to Rodriguez. Wilson thought it was odd that the university was not publicizing the research, as the Sandy Hook shooting has been a national story. UConn Today

When Rodriguez told her no one seemed to know about the research, Wilson thought that was an important story in itself.

“I feel like the fact that there are no updates on it is newsworthy,” Wilson said.

Wilson and Rodriguez both said it is possible the research is not even happening. They said it might be a rumor that took off.

Since turning in the story, Rodriguez has found additional information. She will be writing a follow-up soon.

Also did they do a blood test to determine what and how much drugs were present.I don't think that will come out only anti-gun laws will prevail.

Researching his mental illness wouldn't support stripping all the guns from every law abiding citizen, so the state will obviously not be doing that. No surprise.

Can you please interview Morgue technician Jean Henry, Missing Natalie Hammond, or FEMA G.I Joe Gene Rosenberg? Thanks http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eed9gQAxXa8

Researching the mental and physical condition of the shooter does nothing to support the knee-jerk left's contention that all guns must be taken away. Prediction: This story will fade quietly away, while the mainstream media willfully ignores it. Good job by the Daily Campus reporter--who was doing some actual investigating and reporting--what a concept! You too will be beaten-down by the liberal media powers-that-be once you get out in to the working world too, unfortunately...

"Daily Campus Reporter Elizabeth F. Crowley Cannot Track Down the Researchers Studying Adam Lanza's DNA" why because it maybe its a hoax and a sham. If Adam was already reported as passed on 13th in another state then the body could NOT be at the Farmington facility for DNA testing AND "Oddly enough, the UConn genetics department does not seem to know that they were doing any kind of testing, Why?." Because its a "manufactured crisis" (State of the Union address 2013) or HOAX! Missing Natalie Hammond http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eed9gQAxXa8 "Morgue technician Jean Henry at Farmington facility let husband view Adam Lanza's dead body" I bet Jean Henry could settle this issue once and for all or Missing Natalie Hammond could provide some intel! They reported that Natalie Hammond was going to be at State of the Union address 2013, what happened to that? Morgue technician Jean Henry at Farmington facility http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TV34ngZaGKo
