[Update] 23 Veterans Suffering From Flu Outbreak at State Home

Several of those infected had a flu vaccine in October, the published report said.

WTNH is reporting that 23 veterans are now experiencing flu-like symptoms at the Connecticut Veterans Home.

Officials from the Department of Public Health are investigating a flu outbreak at the , according to Hartford Courant. 

There are nine confirmed cases of the flu, which sent four people sent to an area hospital, according to Veterans Department Commissioner Linda Schwartz. She said all the veterans at the home received the flu vaccine in October.
