Seniors Relax with Barbecue, Bingo, Buddies

The August senior picnic was held Wednesday afternoon.

Seniors enjoyed a summer picnic at the Wednesday afternoon.

Over 50 seniors dined on barbecue chicken legs, home fries, caesar salad and orange sorbet.

"It's tough to keep them all happy, but it is nice," Chef Ted Gintowt said.

Rita Thibodeau comes to the community center every week, but likes the senior picnic atmosphere.

"I really enjoy getting together with these people," she said.

Following lunch, the seniors enjoyed a few games of bingo.
