Update 5 p.m., Monday Oct. 29
There are about 198 Connecticut Light & Power customers in Rocky Hill who are currently without power. This is about 2 percent of the entire town.
Town Manager Barbara Gilbert said the town's Emergency Operations Center is now open, as well as Rocky Hill's shelter. Six people are now staying at the shelter.
CL&P provided the town a line truck and a tree crew and, beyond that, there have been no major issues with regard to the storm and no road closures, Gilbert said.
