Rocky Hill Kid Delivers the Perfect Pitch
Resident throws out the first pitch at New Britain Rock Cats game Thursday night.
Trevor Christensen threw out the first pitch at the New Britain Rock Cats game Thursday night after winning the (RBIS).
RBIS, which was established 13 years ago, is designed to inspire children, ages five through 12, to read during their summer vacation. Over 134 libraries throughout the state are participating in the program, which is sponsored by the New Britain Rock Cats, Connecticut Library Consortium and Central Connecticut State University.
A random drawing was held at the and Christensen received two free passes to Rock Cats versus Altoona Curve. He also got the chance to throw out the first pitch.
