Rocky Hill Coalition Holds Halloween Dance

Dance provided students the chance to have fun without alcohol or drugs.

A youth group against underage drinking held a dance for students on Oct. 29.

The hosted the dance, which was attended by 60 middle schoolers including the student chaperones

All the proceeds from the dance will benefit projects of the . A bin of non-perishable food items was also collected for the town pantry.

"It was a wonderful night of costumes, prizes, games, dancing and karaoke fun," said Lori Stanczyc, Advisor. "This was one of the best dances we have hosted in a while. The sixth grade and some seventh grade students were wonderful."

The dance was part of the 's efforts to stop substance abuse among teenagers during Red Ribbon Week.
