Parks Department Offers Parents Holiday Shopping Help

Parents will be able to run errands or go shopping Saturday night while their children watch a movie and eat pizza under adult supervision.

 

Childcare is being provided by the Parks and Recreation Department so parents can get a chance to finish up their holiday shopping.

The will be held Saturday from 6 to 9 p.m. inside the gym. Parents can drop off their children while they run errands or go shopping for the holidays.

Children in grades kindergarten to fifth will be treated to pizza and a movie while under adult supervision of the Parks and Recreation Department.

The cost of the program is $20 per child and $30 for any child who lives outside of Rocky Hill.

Any parents interested in the program should call the Parks and Recreation Department at 860-258-2772 or stop into their office by Friday at noon. Children dropped off the day of the program will not be allowed to participate.

The program can only accept up to 30 children.
