[Update] Rocky Hill Schools Being Dismissed Early

Rocky Hill Public Schools will be dismissing early today, according to . Here are the times for each school.

  •  11:25 a.m.   
  •   11:50 a.m.  
  •  12:30 a.m.  
  •   1:05 a.m.

There will be no afternoon Kindergarten.

"Morning kindergarten students will not be dismissed at their regular time today but instead will remain at West Hill until 12:30 p.m. and at Stevens until 1:05 p.m. due to availability of buses," Winzler said. Kindergarten parents can pickup their children at regular dismissal times (11:02 a.m. for West Hill and 11:37 a.m. for Stevens.)

All after school and evening activities have been cancelled.

Snow is expected to fall in Rocky Hill after lunch today.

According to the National Weather Service, between one to two inches of snow could accumulate on the ground this afternoon. During the evening commute, Rocky Hill residents will be treated to a mix of rain, snow and sleet, the National Weather Service said.

By midnight, the weather will change to rain, which will continue throughout the day. There is a slight chance of snow in the morning and between 9 p.m. and midnight on Thursday.

The sun will come out on Friday.
