Last Day of Camp

Kids Kampers have a blast on their final day of summer camp.

The campers of  spent their last morning together enjoying the sun, eating shaved ice, and getting their face painted at the Friday.

Campers, who range in age from three to six, were treated to fresh-popped popcorn, homemade snow cones and a donated lunch from Friendly’s.  The kids competed in a water balloon toss and Sharon Hartstein of the Face Factor painted their faces. Hartstein donated her morning to draw turtles, princesses and butterflies on the kids’ faces.

“We were between 40 to 45 kids every week since June 22,” Rita Chhabra, director, said. “It’s not goodbye. It’s see you next year.”

“She’s just great,” Sylvester said. “She’s definitely got the pulse of the kids."
