Carnival Night Delivers For Local Senior Living Community

The first ever carnival night at the is being considered a "terrific" success by one of its staff members.

"It was a great night with a terrific turnout," said Engage Life Director at Greenridge Place Jeremy Hall in an email Tuesday morning. "Thank you to everyone who came out."

Atria Greenridge Place is a community that offers assisted living services and special programs to seniors.

The event on July 27 featured a performance by the band "Survivors," a bounce house, a dunk tank and an outdoor showing of the movie, "Grease."

Local Band Says Thank You to Fans For Rocking Out With Them

extended a big "thank you" to all the people who attended the first ever “” on Saturday night.

Flash Mob Productions worked in conjunction with to provide the evening of rock and roll and entertainment at 2321 Silas Deane Hwy.

The members of JC & The Vipers, who previously played together in another local band, were exchanging emails in early February. All of the men had the desire to perform again and wanted to play more blues and classic rock songs. So, they decided to form a band together.

New Dance Class Being Offered By US Dance Club

is offering an every Wednesday from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. until Sept. 12. 

The price of the class is $10 and price of practice is $5. Dancers can practice  until 11 p.m., according to the event listing.

Students, Parents Can View New Classrooms

will host a meet and greet event on Aug. 27, which will allow students and parents the chance to view their new classrooms and speak with their teachers.

Students with their last name beginning with A to L will be able to walk through the building from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m. And children with their last name beginning with M to Z will go from 2 to 2:30 p.m.
