Through June, AOL is donating minutes of talk time to deployed troops. These minutes allow deployed troops to call, email or video chat with their family and friends back home.

Science Saturday

Families with children above the age of three will be able to conduct a simple experiment at the this Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Children will get the chance to make wind powered cars out of lifesavers, index cards and straws. The project is called "Blow It Away."

Spring Sports Awards Night

The following information was provided by Rocky Hill High School athletics:

will hold its spring sports awards night on June 6.

The evening will begin with dessert and drinks for athletes, coaches and parents, at 6 p.m. in the school cafeteria. All parents, athletes and coaches will then gather in the auditorium at 6:30 p.m. for Varsity and Junior Varsity team awards.

Following the main awards assembly, teams will then go to individual assigned rooms for their private team presentations. Athletes are reminded to dress appropriately for the evening.

Today is World AIDS Vaccine Day. According to http://www.eatg.org, "33 million people are living with HIV/AIDS and almost 7,500 people are newly infected every day."
