Nutmeg Credit Union Casting Call

is looking for customers who want to appear in its .

All potential campaign candidates must submit a photo and explanation of “why they love Nutmeg State” on the credit union’s website by May 15. Winners will be announced on May 22 and the shoot dates will soon follow.

Day of Silence

Some students at will be recognizing the national day of silence. The Advocating Sexuality Equality club is running the event. The day of silence is part of a national campaign "to stand up for those who have been silenced by bullying for whatever reason," according to Rocky Hill High School Resource Teacher Sheila Tobin.

According to factropolis.com, “First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt was so convinced the White House was haunted that she kept a vial of holy water on her nightstand.”
