Blood Drive
The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 1:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the , which is located at 825 Cromwell Ave.
People who donate blood will receive a coupon from Burger King for a free Whooper combo meal or garden fresh salad.

Travel Soccer Tryouts
The Rocky Hill Soccer Club will be holding tryouts for children in grades three to eight on June 1 and 2 at .
Teams are organized by the following age divisions with the tryout date and time:
- U9 (born on or after 8/1/O3-7/31/O4; typically in Grade 3 in the fall) June 1 5:30 p.m.
- U10 (born on or after 8/1/02-7/31/O3; typically in Grade 4 in the fall) June 1 7 p.m.
- U11 (born on or after 8/1/01-7/31/02; typically in Grade 5 in the fall) June 1 8 p.m.
- U12 (born on or after 8/1/00-7/31/01; typically in Grade 6 in the fall) June 2 8 a.m.
- U13 (born on or after 8/1/99-7/31/00; typically in Grade 7 in the fall) June 2 9:30 a.m.
- U14 (born on or after 8/1/98-7/31/99; typically in Grade 8 in the fall) June 2 11:00 a.m.
Players can register at www.rockyhillsoccer.com or walk up at least 30 minutes before tryouts. The uniform fee is $125 and it must be paid by August 1.

Reading with Toby
Children will get the chance to read to a Golden Retriever and Poodle mix this afternoon at the .
Anita Albanese brings her , once a month to the library so that children can improve their reading skills and feel more comfortable about reading out loud. Each session is 15 minutes long.
To sign up, call 860-258-7621. There is limited space and priority will be given to first time readers. The program is from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
