Trash Pickup Begins Again Today

Trash collection will resume today, according to an email from the Park and Recreation Department.

will be open Thursday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

For bulky waste pickups, please email glennparent@mac.com.

The next curbside brush collection will be on July 16 and another will be on Oct. 6 at the Transfer Station from 9 a.m. to noon.

Concerts Rock Veterans Memorial Amphitheater Tonight

The resumes tonight with a 60s' cover band called Skid Marks performing several of Rocky Hill residents' favorites.

All the concerts, which are sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department, will be held on Thursdays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the  in back of throughout the summer.

There is ample parking at the venue and all the concerts are free of charge. Food will be available for purchase at 6:30 p.m.

"Life Moves" Home Downsizing Seminar

is offering a next week.

The seminar called "Life Moves" will be on July 10 at 7 p.m. at The Lodge at Cold Spring and anyone is encouraged to attend.

Registered Nurse, Professional Speaker, and Move Manager and Organizer Karen Martin will be the guest speaker.
