The hosted the 2012 Preschool and Family Daycare Expo Wednesday night.
Event organizer Catherine Potter said the expo was a chance for parents to meet with home daycare providers and representatives from local preschools in Wethersfield, Middlefield, Rocky Hill, Cromwell and Newington. Parents could ask questions about pricing, class size, philosophy and location.

"It is really important where a school is located, so it is an easy pickup and drop off," Potter stated.
Overall, Potter was pleased with the attendance and the parents' participation in the event. The room was filled with about 30 parents by 6:30 p.m.
