Work by The Pita Group and MassMutual recognized at annual Plan Sponsor Council of America conference

(Rocky Hill, Conn., October 1, 2013)—The Plan Sponsor Council of America (PSCA) has recognized MassMutual Retirement Services with several awards for work done in partnership with The Pita Group, a full-service integrated marketing agency in Rocky Hill, Conn. The awards recognize an online retirement video series and annual direct mail and email campaign produced by Pita.

 

MassMutual was honored on September 10 during the PSCA’s annual conference in Scottsdale, Ariz., receiving 10 awards for excellence in retirement plan communication and education.

The annual RetireSmart campaign educates recipients on the benefits of enrolling in a retirement plan, increasing savings, examining their allocation strategy or consolidating accounts. Visuals and messaging are targeted to address recipients’ specific life stage. For the 2012 campaign, QR codes on the direct mail pieces led to relevant “Did you know?” retirement facts on a responsive microsite.

 

“The Smart View” is an online talk show series that addresses a wide range of money and retirement topics. Hosted by three “real, smart people” – each representing a target age segment – the show educates viewers on retirement news and trends, features expert insight from best-selling author and “Today Show” contributor Farnoosh Torabi, answers common questions and poses conversation topics. Viewers are encouraged to continue the conversation on the RetireSmart Facebook page.
