Rocky Hill Resident Wins Two National Graphic Design Awards

Miranda Creative received two American Graphic Design Awards recognizing designs created for two Connecticut Hospitals. The awards, presented by Graphic Design USA (GDUSA), honor the designs of Natchaug Hospital’s 2013 Annual Report and Lawrence + Memorial Hospital’s 2012 Patient Care Services Annual Report.

Both awards recognize work created by designer Tomasz Kazmierczak. Working with Art Director Ruth Radin and Creative Director Maria Miranda, Kazmierczak created two unique and highly successful annual reports for two local healthcare environments. Kazmierczak, a Rocky Hill resident, joined the Miranda Creative team one year ago and provides clients with fresh, engaging designs across all media.

With over 8,000 entries received from across the country, a highly selective number of pieces are chosen to receive American Graphic Design Award Certificates of Excellence. This year, Miranda Creative is proud to have two print pieces recognized by the selective GDUSA award program.

GDUSA’s American Graphic Design Awards is one of the biggest and broadest design competitions, welcoming submissions from advertising agencies, graphic design firms, corporations, associations, universities, government, publishers and more. The award honors outstanding work of all kinds and across all media.
