Leadership Greater Hartford is pleased to welcome Valerie Taylor as Director of Consulting and Training services and the Director of the Summit program. A long-time consulting and training colleague for Leadership Greater Hartford, Valerie has more than 25 years of experience as an executive coach, leadership and organization development consultant, trainer and facilitator
Valerie will be managing Leadership Greater Hartford's portfolio of customized Consulting and Training services focused on leadership training, team building and a variety of other organizational development needs. These services are offered to organizations in the public and nonprofit sectors and to the business community.
She will also direct Summit, a six-session invitation-only program for a select group of advanced leaders, across all industry sectors. The program helps area executives achieve greater leadership excellence through a journey of shared insights and experiences.

A resident of East Hartford, Valerie most recently served as the Training Manager for the Community Renewal Team, and has worked in a variety of corporate and business roles throughout her career.

Valerie replaces Melina Rudman, who held a similar position with Leadership Greater Hartford for the past two years. Melina, a resident of Rocky Hill, was recently appointed as the Pastoral Discernment Leader/Executive Director of the Spiritual Life Center in West Hartford and begins her new role on August 19, 2013. Leadership Greater Hartford wishes Melina great success in her new role.
