Three members of the community will also receive honorable service awards and are expected to be given citations from state Sen. Paul Doyle and Rep. Tony Guerrera.

“The Chamber's annual business meeting is important to recognize people/business within the Rocky Hill community who cares about giving back to the community, cares about the youth in the community, and cares about the future of the community by celebrating their deeds for a night," Kober said.

The Chamber of Commerce is expecting over 150 people to attend the dinner, which will be a record-breaking attendance for the annual event.

“This year's event will certainly be far different than any before as I have planned for a spectacular night of lights and production, kind of a miniature Academy Awards night,” Kober said. “A night not to miss.”

The evening starts with a cocktail hour at 6 p.m. and dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The awards program will follow dinner. Rocky Hill Patch will be one of the sponsors and will be covering the event.
