The business "has strived to bring to the consumer the latest technological achievements in the field of non-invasive aesthetic medicine" since its inception in 2003, according to the company's website. The Spa and Medical Loss center was located on South Main Street in Middletown. Dr. Maria O'Brien said she and her staff have "worked endlessly" to prepare the building for its opening after purchasing it a week ago.
O'Brien said they choose this location in Rocky Hill because of its proximity to New Haven and Hartford and its surrounding communities. Rocky Hill is also close to I-91 and Route 9, she added.
