Three Concerts in Eight Days

Rain cancels Top 40 cover band for the second time this summer.

After Kick was cancelled for the second time, the Parks and Recreation Department responded by booking three concerts over the next eight days.

The urban and r&b performer and songwriter Latanya Farrell will perform Thursday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Amphitheater. Concert goers are encouraged to arrive at 6 p.m. to find seating.

The top 40 cover band Kick, who was cancelled last week due to the heat, will perform Tuesday and Souled Out will perform next Thursday.
