I admit, I scoffed at this when it debuted two weeks ago. Celebrities “exchanging” lives with someone who shares their name. Stupid, I snorted derisively. NOT! Hey, when I am wrong, I’m wrong. The first one, David Hasselhoff, was so great! The Hoff having to work hard. The Hoff mowing lawns! The Hoff meeting a VFW full of other Hoffs! Fabulous! And then Kathy Griffin trading places with a homophobic black woman in Atlanta who sells fiberglass! And the not-famous Kathy being mothered by Maggie and coming to love gay men and doing stand-up comedy! I bawled my eyes out. Tonight, Mike Tyson – who has had his share of drama – trades lives with a nurse from Michigan. Get the tissues.
