The staff at the Connecticut Humane Society is hoping someone will get one glimpse of Miller, fall in love with him and take the two-year hound mix home.
Miller would prefer to live in a home with children over the age of 14 and would enjoy sharing his living space with other cats and dogs.
"This young guy has a great disposition and is extremely friendly," according to the Connecticut Humane Society website. "Miller loves going up to new people to meet and greet."
If you are interested in Miller or any of the other animals at the Connecticut Humane Society, log onto its website to see a gallery of all the adoptable pets and to learn about the adoption rules and procedures.
A two-year old Miniature Pinscher is still available for adoption as well.
The Connecticut Humane Society is located at 701 Russell Road in Newington and its phone number is 800-452-0114. The hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
If you have plenty of pets at home but still want to help out these great animals, the Humane Society is always accepting donations of food, toys and supplies.
