Rocky Hill Girl Scout Awarded Prestigious Appreciation Pin

Kathy Villano was awarded the Girl Scount Appreciation Pin at the group's annual meeting on May 29.

Girl Scouts of Connecticut announced on a Rocky Hill Board that Kathy Villano of Rocky Hill was awarded the prestigious Girl Scout Appreciation Pin at the organization’s Annual Meeting on May 29.

A national recognition for adult Girl Scouts, the Appreciation Pin recognizes a member who practices the values of inclusive behavior and who has delivered outstanding service above expectations to at least one geographic area within the state they serve.

Kathy Villano has been a Troop Leader for 27 years, a Trainer for 20 years, delegate for 15 years, and ran cookie pantry for eight years. She has been a leader for Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, and Seniors, working with more than 100 girls over the years.
