Rocky Hill Food Pantry In Need of Donations

The 699 Old Main St. pantry often sees a dip in contributions during the summer months.

While the Rocky Hill Food Pantry continues to get donations from local businesses and residents, it is still always in need of more.

The Hartford Courant reported that the summer months are often a lull period when food donations slow down, meaning there food pantry is always welcoming any contribution residents can give.

The pantry is self-sustaining, and does not receive distributions from Foodshare Inc., the regional anti-hunger agency, the Courant reported.

The pantry is located 699 Old Main St.
