It was a close vote between Soundview Beach and Hammonasset Beach State Park, but in the end, the swimming destination in Old Lyme was the clear winner this week's Readers' Choice Poll.
This week asked residents to tell us their . Soundview Beach received 45 percent of the votes in the poll. Hammonasset Beach State Park was the next highest vote getter with 37 percent.
