Thirty days is a long time to be at the shelter, and the staff of the Connecticut Humane Society in Newington is hoping that a family will take one look at ChiChi and immediately bring the “sweet boy” home.
The orange, 7-year-old domestic shorthair is easy to fall in love with, according to humane society officials, and would be a great companion for children as well as dogs.
ChiChi, who is FIV+, is "part of our Project Purrfect program which means that he's available at $50 off the standard adoption fee," according to the society’s website.

If you’re prefer a small dog or two, the Shih Tzu/Poodle mix pair of are still available for adoption, as well.
