FREE Paper Shredding and Electronics Recycling Day Sponsored By American Eagle Federal Credit Union

American Eagle Federal Credit Union is hosting a free paper shredding and electronics recycling day on Saturday, September 15, 2012, from 9:00 a.m. to noon, at our East Hartford office located at 417 Main Street. All Credit Union members and non-members in the community are welcome to participate.  

Paper Shredding
Thanks to our vendor Iron Mountain for providing this confidential shredding service.

  • What you CAN bring:
    • Three box/bag limit per person
    • All office paper and file folders, including staples, clips, and rubber bands
  • What you CANNOT bring:
    •  Plastics, Binders, Metals, CDs, DVDs, and common trash

Electronics Recycling
Thanks to our vendor SpaceFitters for providing this convenient electronics recycling service.

  • What you CAN bring:
    • (Unlimited)Computer electronics (CPU's, monitors, laptops, printers, faxes, servers, modems, keyboards, cables, cords and mice); telecomunication equipment and televisions.  
  • What you CANNOT bring:
    • Batteries, air conditioners, kitchen appliances (including microwave ovens), light bulbs, freezers, and clothes washer/dryers.
