CT Open House Day Draw Large Crowds To Ferry Landing

Unfortunately Ferry couldn't run because of high water levels from recent rains.

A steady stream of visitors from towns across the state made their way down to the Rocky Hill-Glastonbury Ferry Saturday for CT Open House Day to enjoy free rides on the ferry.

"Unfortunately, the ferry was not running due to high water from yesterday's rain," said Ed Chiucarello, of the Rocky Hill Riverfront Preservation Society.

The J.J. Diamond band and friends played throughout the day.
