Best Friends 12 Annual Holiday Drive Benefits Protectors of Animals
Rocky Hill animal lovers really showed their concern for homeless dogs and cats this holiday season by donating more than $600 worth of food, toys and treats to the Best Friends Pet Care Animal Angel Tree campaign to benefit animal shelter Protectors of Animals.
“We are so happy to be able to help Protectors of Animals”, said Corinne Walley, manager of Best Friends Pet Care in Rocky Hill. “As a non-profit shelter run by volunteers, they really depends upon private donations to provide supplies for the many pets in their care.”
Donations to the Animal Angel Tree program can be made until Saturday, Jan. 5 by visiting Best Friends at 1511 Silas Dean Highway in Rocky Hill, or by calling 860-721-8080. All supplies will be delivered to the shelter in early January.
